I haven’t posted in awhile because I haven’t had anything to post about in a long time. But finally, I have something that is definitely post worthy material. Here’s a quick clip of my boy, Superfly Brown during a recording of his radio show. Awesome ; )
Got in early to work today to take care of some work. I wasn’t in long before I got the good news that we are leaving early too. What a glorious day this is turning out to be.
I’m still up right now, trying to fall asleep. I know I’m tired. My body tells me I’m tired, yet for some reason my eyes are so pissed off at me that they will not shut. I’m a little mad at them right now…
On my way home last night, I stopped by the Japanese market. I was hoping to find something I could do when I got home. The last time I went there I bought an origami pack of bugs, and wanted to see if they had anymore I could try out. I found a new pack, bought a stick of glue, a pair of scissors, and headed home. Once I got home I started on my bugs, and didn’t stop until about midnight. Here’s my origami bug collection…
I think all of these bugs are suppose to be some sort of beetle, but I’m not sure. The two on the wall look like like they may not beetles but, what do I know about the world of origami bugs. You can’t tell, but the one on my monitor has some crazy pincers. That one was the hardest to fold.
The two beetles on my desk are my favorite in the whole group. I recognize the biggest one, it is called a Hercules beetle. Unfortunately, I don’t know the name of the other bug. Its all good though, in the end it was some good therapy for me to sit at home and fold till my fingers felt arthritic : )
Everyone, this is Kimo. So cute!
I have never seen a puppy this small before. He was very sweet, and always wanted to be held. As soon as you held him, he would ball up in your hands and fall asleep.
I made Brutus take a picture with him. I don’t think he appreciated that very much. Kimo loved Brutus though, and vice versa. Brutus let the puppy nibble on his ear a couple of times and never got upset. I was proud of him. I love this picture because it makes me think, if Brutus was a kid, he would be the one constantly saying, “Mom…I don’t want to take a picture!”
This is my favorite picture. Notice the stuffed animal next to Kimo. He’s so small!
